Reception Class Newsletter

Autumn 2, week 7

Dear Parents,

It’s hard to believe that the children are nearing the end of their first term in school!

Our last week will be filled with all things Christmassy, including of course our two Christmas performances and our Christmas party on Thursday afternoon.

Many thanks for the costumes you have provided for our production – the children will look wonderful! If you have not managed to provide a costume yet, we would appreciate if you could send it in for Monday, as we will be doing a performance for the Key Stage Two children on Monday morning.

Reception parents do not need to provide any items of food for the party, as these have already been purchased from the consumables fund.

As the final week will be so busy, we will not be hearing the children read, but will provide everyone with two new books to read at home during the course of this week. We will also be assessing the pink and red words the children have been working on this term.

We wish you all a fun filled Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year.

 The Reception Team
